What Slidis is

Slidis is a community-driven tool for practicing RSA-style driving test routes. It is not a government service, not affiliated with the Road Safety Authority (RSA) of Ireland, and not a substitute for professional driving instruction.

Currently, Slidis is in pre-launch. Access is via waitlist only. By submitting your email, you agree to these terms.

What Slidis is not

• Not an official RSA system or government-backed service
• Not a guarantee of passing the driving test
• Not a replacement for mandatory EDT lessons
• Not professional legal or driving advice

Road safety

You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others at all times. Irish road law applies regardless of what any app shows. You must be accompanied by a qualified sponsor driver when practising on a learner permit. Slidis does not authorise you to drive unsupervised.

Do not interact with the app while driving. Set up your session before moving.

Community data accuracy

Routes are submitted and verified by the community. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or current validity. Test centres change routes. Road layouts change. Always apply your own judgment on the road.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty of uptime or availability. We are a pre-launch product. Things break. We will fix them.

Intellectual property

The Slidis name, logo, and interface are our property. Community-submitted route data belongs to the contributors.

By submitting a route, you grant Slidis a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and perpetual licence to use, display, distribute, adapt, and commercially exploit the submitted route data as part of the Slidis platform and any related services. You retain authorship, but you cannot withdraw this licence once the route has been published.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time without prior notice. Material changes will be communicated via email to waitlist members. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slidis, its creators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, income, or opportunity — arising from:

• Use or inability to use the service
• Route data inaccuracies or omissions
• Road incidents of any kind during practice
• Service downtime or data loss
• Any actions taken based on information provided by the platform

You use Slidis entirely at your own risk. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Slidis, its creators, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or any third-party claims related to your driving activity.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
