Your right to deletion
You have the right to delete your Slidis account and all associated personal data at any time. This is guaranteed under GDPR (Article 17 — Right to Erasure) and honoured unconditionally by us.
How to delete via the app
Once the app is live, deletion can be performed directly:
- Open the Slidis app
- Go to Settings → Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the action when prompted
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
How to delete via email
You can also request account deletion by emailing us directly. Send a message to legal@slidis.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request and include the email address associated with your account.
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your email address
- All account preferences and settings
- Any routes you have uploaded (or they are anonymised, at your choice)
- All session and activity data tied to your account
Some anonymised, aggregated data (e.g. route popularity counts) may be retained as it cannot be attributed to any individual.
Waitlist-only users
If you have only joined the waitlist and the app is not yet live, your only stored data is your email address. To remove it, email legal@slidis.com with the subject Waitlist Removal Request. We will delete it promptly.
